Application Information

Each year, we seek a diverse group of leaders from across Washington to serve as Junior Counselors (JCs). Representing schools and neighborhoods statewide, JCs bring a wide range of skills, passions, and lived experiences that enrich our program. As role models and mentors, they provide crucial support to our high school delegates while playing an integral role in leading councils and managing dorm life.  

2025 Updates

Please review the following updates to the Junior Counselor role and application prior to applying:

  • Camp Dates: July 23rd through July 29th. All staff must arrive at Cispus on the morning of July 22nd.

  • JC Retreat: An in-person JC retreat is planned to meet the team and build connections before camp begins. Date/time and location will be announced in January 2025.
